Most people understand that the great majority of small businesses fail within the first 3 years. EVERY business would consider this survival a milestone. But to prosper after 25 years, while still growing means you have consistently from year to year delivered to your customers two things: a quality premium product at a fair price, and superior customer service. By the way, we are also without doubt, one of the oldest tobacco establishments in the Cincinnati area.

Our commitment is to tobacco, so our business is built around cigars primarily and pipe blend tobaccos secondarily. Not vapes, not paraphernalia, but cigars. Not supplements or incense or pipes. It's cigars. Space devoted to cigars and cigar accessories- about 75%. We are a true cigar store that also sells a few vapes, pipes and supplements. Note that most local smoke shops are vape and supplement stores that carry a few cigars. If you are a true cigar enthusiast, come to a true cigar store.

We have two currently covering the NE and north portions of Cincinnati. But you can easily drive to one of our locations within about 30 minutes or less from most of the Cincinnati metro area

Maduro cigars are not always stronger than other cigars, as strength is determined by a number of factors, including the tobacco blend, wrapper type, and nicotine content.

Toast your cigar by holding it in your hand. The cigar should be rotated during lighting to achieve an even burn while slowly drawn with gentle puffs. If a match is used it should be allowed to burn past its head before being put to the cigar, to avoid imparting unwelcome flavors or chemicals to the smoke. Many specialized gas and fluid lighters are made for lighting cigars. The tip of the cigar should minimally touch any flame, with special care used with torch lighters to avoid charring the tobacco leaves.

If you are an occassional smoker, smoking a few cigars a year, saving money is a bit challenging. If you are a regular cigar/pipe smoker, you can save some significant dollars by shopping the frequent promotions at Bells and becoming a member of our loyalty program. This is easy to do as Bell's almost always has a promotion or sale happening.

What to do with the cigar band inspires heated debate among aficionados. Some smokers believe leaving the band on is novice-like. Others treat cigar bands with extraordinary reverence, collecting them in scrap books or saving them for display. You decide - we're leaving it up to you!
